Sweet Find

The Realtor Everyone Recommends

You know how some people just get things done without all the fluff? That’s Theresa Robin. She’s one of those people you instantly like—down-to-earth, sharp, and seriously focused on making things happen. When she’s working with you, you never wonder if something’s getting dropped. She’s already on it.

One of her latest listings says it 337 Youngstown Kingsville Rd SE in Vienna, Ohio. This place is unique: a quaint two-bedroom, one-bath, turn-of-the-century home sitting on just over half an acre. It comes with a bonus room that’s perfect for an office, creative nook, or extra guest space, plus a massive 29’×25’ heated outbuilding that includes a half bath, a loft, and a cozy covered porch. The seller even ran an antique store out of it—so you really get the blend of homey and entrepreneurial.

What I like most about Theresa is that she’s not a “let’s drag this out” type. She listens, she’s straightforward, and she keeps the process moving. If you want someone who’s warm but doesn’t sugarcoat, she’s it. Honestly, I think that’s why people end up not just hiring her, but recommending her to their friends.

If you’re curious about this house—or just want to know the kind of realtor who actually makes things easier—Theresa’s the one to watch.

Hidden Gems

Step Into Something Scenic:
Exploring East Cohasset

In our last outdoors feature, we learned all about Mill Creek Park’s
Fellows Lily Pond area. Today, we are going to begin exploring the trail
system within the park by focusing on one of our favorite hidden outdoor
gems: The East Cohasset Hike & Bike Trail.

The trail is located at one end just down the hill from the
Lanterman’s Mill parking lot. It runs just short of two miles to where it ends near the Ford Nature Center. It runs above Lake Cohasset, named after an old Algonquin word meaning “long rocky place,” and offers lovely elevated views of the peaceful lake and the historic Cinderella bridge. It is a very accessible trail as it was once a road, but is now closed to motorized traffic.

Being only open to hikers, joggers, roller-skaters, and cyclists, the
trail allows you to better enjoy the scenery around you without having to
worry about tripping over tree roots or other hazards you’ll find along most trails. It winds this way and that, traversing bends and offering an
assortment of inclines and downhill sections as you enjoy the stunning
beauty of the outdoors. It is a very engaging trail for outdoor enthusiasts,
but it is not a difficult trail to navigate. People of all reasonable fitness levels will find it to offer a challenging yet manageable workout while
remaining a rewarding and engaging experience.

When you have completed your journey from one end of the trail to the other, you can either head back the way you came or walk down the short hill to the West Cohasset Trail to complete the Cohasset loop at the water’s level, enjoying the sights and sounds of the gurgling water and the surrounding wildlife. One great feature of this trail is that it forms a loop, so you can park many different places along it and begin and end your adventure at the location of your choosing. There are parking lots near the Cinderella bridge, the Pioneer Pavilion, and at the end of the fork below Lanterman’s Mill, which all provide immediate access to this trail.

So, grab your hiking shoes and head out to the park. There is a world
of beauty to enjoy as you get fit and healthy. The trails are well-maintained and very safe. And it’s all right here in the Yo!
