That Clean Car Piece of Mind
Having a clean car can have a surprisingly strong impact on productivity, focus, and even mood. When your vehicle is organized and clutter-free, it reduces mental overload and decision fatigue. Research in environmental psychology has shown that clutter competes for your attention and can lower cognitive performance.
There’s a Reason He’s Booking a Month Out
If you’ve tried to get in with Youngstown Detail Co., you already know — Chad Anderson is about a month out.
And honestly? That makes sense.
He takes real pride in his work. The kind where every vehicle that leaves his shop feels like a reflection of his name. Whether it’s a full detail or a high-end ceramic coating, the difference shows the second you see it in the sunlight.
It’s not rushed.
It’s not average.
It’s done right.
Chad works six days a week, often ten-hour days, because he genuinely loves what he does. He’s constantly learning, refining, and pushing himself to be better — not because he has to, but because he wants to.
That energy is contagious.
Around here, word travels fast when someone consistently delivers. And Youngstown Detail Co. has built a reputation for exceeding expectations and making cars look the way owners hoped they would all along.
There’s something satisfying about seeing a vehicle completely transformed. Cleaner. Glossier. Protected. Proud to drive.
If yours could use that kind of reset, it’s worth getting on his schedule now.

Youngstown appreciates people who care about their craft.
And Chad absolutely does.
Winter Cleaning Tips:
Winter creates very specific cleaning challenges most people don’t think about. Salt, slush, dry air, and closed-up homes all create messes that don’t happen other seasons. Here are high-impact winter house cleaning tips that specifically tackle cold-weather problems:
• Use double entry mats (one outside, one inside) to trap salt and moisture before it reaches flooring.
• Remove salt residue with a mild vinegar and warm water solution; dry floors immediately to prevent damage.
• Set up a winter drop zone near the door for boots, coats, gloves, and wet items to contain mess.
• Vacuum or sweep floors before mopping to prevent salt and sand from spreading.
• Change mop water more frequently in winter because it becomes dirty faster.
• Increase indoor humidity (around 40–50%) to reduce dust, static, and wood cracking.
• Wash blankets, throws, entry rugs, and pet bedding more often due to increased indoor use.
• Replace HVAC filters more frequently and vacuum around vents and heaters.
• Wipe window condensation regularly to prevent mold and water damage.
• Keep a towel or small water bowl near entrances to clean pet paws before they track in salt and chemicals.
• Use natural daylight to identify dust buildup, streaks, and cobwebs.
Facts:
Most homeowners can handle daily upkeep… but weekly + deep cleaning is where people get overwhelmed .
All Spruced Up Cleaning Co.
Is Giving Back in a Beautiful Way
There’s something powerful about a business that understands that when you’re blessed, you bless others.
Paige, owner of All Spruced Up Cleaning Co., shared that they offer free home cleanings to individuals currently undergoing cancer treatment. No spotlight. No grand announcement. Just service & clean products without all the harsh chemicals.
Think about what that means.
When someone is fighting for their health, the last thing they should worry about is scrubbing a bathroom or mopping the floor. A clean, peaceful home can bring clarity, comfort, and a sense of normalcy during a heavy season.
This is the kind of leadership our town needs more of. Businesses that do well and give freely. Businesses that see people first.
Youngstown grows stronger when success turns into service.
If you know someone in treatment who could benefit, or if you simply want to support a company that leads with heart, keep All Spruced Up Cleaning Co. in mind.
This is how community is built.

Meet Clear Roofing and Siding –
Protecting Homes from the Top Down
Hey Youngstown,
If you’ve lived through even one real winter here, you already know — the snow isn’t the problem.
It’s what happens after it melts.
Greg Clear, Marine veteran and owner of Clear Roofing and Siding, specializes in something most homeowners don’t think about until it’s too late: water damage from improper roof ventilation and insulation.
Here’s what locals need to know.
When your attic doesn’t have enough insulation — and most don’t — heat escapes through the roof. That warmth melts the snow. The melted water runs down to the colder edge of your roof and refreezes in the gutters. That’s how ice dams build up.
And once that ice backs up under your shingles?
You’re looking at leaks, interior water damage, and sometimes mold growth.
Greg says most homes in our area should have R48–R60 insulation, which equals roughly 14 to 22 inches in your attic. Anything less, and you’re likely losing heat — and risking long-term damage.
Ventilation matters just as much.
Proper airflow through soffit vents allows cold air to circulate through the attic, reducing moisture buildup and helping prevent mold. Without that movement, you’re trapping warm, damp air in a space that was never meant to hold it.
It’s one of those behind-the-scenes home issues that quietly turns into a big expense.
Greg’s approach is straightforward. Inspect it. Explain it clearly. Fix it the right way. No drama.
And if you’re planning ahead, here are a few 2025 “best dates” for roofing work to keep in mind:
• Late April through early June
• Late August through early October
Those windows typically offer ideal temperatures for materials to seal properly and crews to work efficiently.
Around here, we respect people who know their craft and take pride in it. Greg does both.
If your gutters look suspicious this winter or you’re not sure what’s sitting above your ceiling, it might be worth a conversation.
Because in Youngstown, we know — the real damage usually starts where you can’t see it.

Health Corner:

How NAD+ helps your cells
Pills that could reverse aging (including one you may already take)
Everyone is aging - despite what TikTok says. No cream, cold plunge, or influencer changes that. But science is starting to understand why we age — and that’s where things get interesting.
Harvard scientist David Sinclair says aging isn’t just “getting old.” He believes it’s caused by damage inside our cells and a loss of the instructions that keep them running well. If we can protect and repair those cells, we may be able to slow aging and delay diseases like heart disease, dementia, and cancer.
One big focus is NAD, a molecule that helps cells create energy and repair themselves. NAD levels drop as we age. Sinclair studies ways to boost it (like NMN or NR supplements), though human research is still developing.
He also points to medications like metformin and rapamycin, which may support healthier aging by improving metabolism and helping cells clean out damage.
Bottom line: This isn’t about living forever. It’s about staying healthier longer.
Curious if NAD is for you? Skin Solution MedSpa will do a free consultation to to determine just that!
